Fire Department

Sea Bright Fire Department

Sea Bright Fire & Rescue is an all volunteer orginization operating out of one firehouse, located in downtown Sea Bright. We currently operate 1 truck company, 1 engine company, 1 squad company (enhanced engine), 1 flood water / utility unit, 3 boats and 1 wave runner.

Our first due area consists of a mixture of residential and commercial occupancies ranging from old fishing bungalows to newly constructed homes to large high occupancy beach clubs and a downtown district. We are also responsible for responding second due to our brothers in Monmouth Beach and Rumson under automatic aid agreements along with Gateway National Recreation Area – Sandy Hook, Highlands and other surrounding municipalities under mutual aid agreements.

The members of our department strive to provide the best level of service possible to the residents and visitors of our town. We provide your everyday fire and rescue services and specialize in different types of water and ice rescue under our marine division. Our members are always pushing further in advancing their skills and have recently became certified as a Rapid Intervention Team.

We invite everyone to visit us as our doors are always open and we encourage the company.
