Sea Bright Fire & Rescue is an ISO Class 2 all-volunteer orginization operating out of one firehouse, centrally
located in downtown Sea Bright. We currently operate 1 truck company, 1 engine company, 1 squad company
(enhanced engine), 2 flood water / utility unit, and 4 boats.

Our first due area consists of a mixture of residential and commercial occupancies ranging from old fishing bungalows to newly constructed homes to large high occupancy beach clubs and a bustling downtown business district. We are also responsible for responding second due to our brothers in Monmouth Beach and Rumson under automatic aid agreements along with Gateway National Recreation Area – Sandy Hook, Highlands and other surrounding municipalities under mutual aid agreements.

The members of our department strive to provide the best level of Fire and Emergency Service possible to the residents and visitors of our town. Over the years our mission has changed, we have evolved into all hazards mitigation. We provide your everyday fire suppression as well as EMS, Rope Rescue, Vehicle Extraction, Rapid Intervention, Hazmat, and specialize in different types of water and ice rescue (Ocean, Flood, River) under our robust marine division. We currently maintain 2 in-state deployable flood and swift water type 3 rescue teams. Our members are always pushing further in advancing their skills and training and we also pride ourselves on our Fire Prevention and Community Risk Reduction initiatives.

We invite everyone to visit us as our doors are always open and we encourage the company.
