SEA BRIGHT - RUMSON BRIDGE PROJECT UPDATE
Monmouth County has scheduled an in-person public meeting to provide an open-house opportunity to introduce the Construction Phase Project Team, view information on construction staging and traffic management and present the anticipated schedule. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 27 from 4-6 pm in the Holy Cross Auditorium (40 Rumson Road). Masks are required for all attendees. RECYCLING ALERT! DO NOT RECYCLE PLASTIC BAGS, WRAPS, AND FILMS.
There has been an increase of missed recycling pickups in town due to the recycling plants getting more strict about plastic bags in the recycling stream.
SCHOOL REGIONALIZATION SURVEY
The Borough of Sea Bright is exploring the possibility of reorganizing its school system so as to regionalize within the Henry Hudson School District. Please feel free to review and submit this k-12 school regionalization survey if you live or own property in Sea Bright, Highlands or Atlantic Highlands. STOP THE SPOTTED LANTERNFLY
The Spotted Lanternfly is an invasive insect new to the United States. Monmouth County has been added to the list of New Jersey counties that have Spotted Lanternfly activity. Spotted Lanternflies have the potential to become a threat to agriculture and forestry industries. For more information and what to do click on "More."
November 2, 2021 General Election
The NJ State Legislature passed S3203 implementing NJ's first ever Early Voting process starting with the November 2021 General Election. It will begin on October 23 and end on October 31. The hours will be Monday thru Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. A list of early voting sites and mail-in drop box locations in Monmouth County are attached.

SHREWSBURY RIVERFRONT PARK MATCHING GRANT
The Borough has applied for an Open Space Grant from Monmouth County to finish the remaining elements of Shrewsbury Riverfront Park. This will be phase 2 of the park development on the site of the former Anchorage Apartments. Phase 1 was covered under a similar grant. This grant will provide for a Pavilion on the Paver area, benches, and picnic tables, along with beds of native plants and an irrigation system. We are partnering with Monmouth Conservation Foundation to raise funds that will be used as the town's match. FREE TRANSPORTATION TO COVID VACCINATION APPOINTMENTS IN MONMOUTH COUNTY
The Monmouth County Division of Transportation will be offering Free Transportation to Monmouth County Residents who have scheduled their COVID-19 Vaccinations to locations within Monmouth County.
To qualify for this Free Transportation the following guidelines must be met:
1. Must have a confirmed vaccine appointment
2. All trips MUST be scheduled through the Division of Transportation (732) 431-6480 Option #1
3. Residents must be 60 years of age or older
4. Disabled residents over 18
5. Transportation is only available during regular business hours
